A moist and delicious walnut banana bread perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

1 egg

¾ cup mashed bananas

½ cup oil

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F

2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl

3. Combine wet ingredients separately

4. Mix wet and dry gently

5. Fold in walnuts

6. Pour into greased pan

7. Bake for 35–40 minutes

8. Cool before serving

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor

Do not overmix batter

Add extra walnuts on top for crunch
