Quick and easy Teriyaki Chicken made with juicy chicken breast pieces coated in a sweet and savory homemade teriyaki sauce.
1 1/4 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp honey
1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp fresh ginger minced
2 tsp fresh garlic minced
2 tsp cornstarch
Sesame seeds
Green onions
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
2. Add chicken and cook until browned
3. Whisk sauce ingredients together
4. Pour sauce over cooked chicken
5. Cook until sauce thickens
6. Toss chicken to coat evenly
7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions
8. Serve immediately
Use mirin for additional flavor
Chicken thighs may replace chicken breasts
