A classic shrimp scampi recipe with garlic butter sauce, lemon, and pasta for a quick and elegant meal.

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 ounces angel hair pasta

1/2 cup butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup dry white wine

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Lemon wedges

Instructions

1. Boil pasta until al dente and set aside.

2. Melt butter in a pan and sauté garlic.

3. Add shrimp and cook until pink.

4. Pour in white wine and bring to a boil.

5. Add lemon juice and pepper.

6. Combine shrimp and sauce with pasta.

7. Sprinkle Parmesan and parsley.

8. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp.

Use fresh lemon juice.

Adjust sauce consistency with pasta water if needed.
