1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
16 ounces linguine pasta
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 shallots, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup white wine
1 lemon, juiced
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup parsley
1. Cook pasta until al dente and reserve some pasta water.
2. Heat butter and oil in a skillet.
3. Cook shallots, garlic, and spices.
4. Add shrimp and cook until pink, then remove.
5. Add wine and lemon juice, then simmer.
6. Return shrimp to pan.
7. Toss pasta with sauce and add pasta water if needed.
8. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Do not overcook shrimp.
Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
Adjust sauce consistency with pasta water.
