Shrimp Pasta Recipe – Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta Ready in 15 Minutes

Creamy garlic shrimp pasta made with tender shrimp, linguine, Parmesan cheese, and a rich garlic butter cream sauce. Ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

8 ounces linguine pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 1/2 tablespoons butter divided

1 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning

1 clove garlic minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Boil salted water and cook linguine until al dente.

2. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain the pasta.

3. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet.

4. Add shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning.

5. Cook shrimp until pink and remove from skillet.

6. Melt remaining butter in the same skillet.

7. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

8. Pour in heavy cream and scrape any browned bits from the pan.

9. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

10. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.

11. Add cooked pasta and toss until coated.

12. Return shrimp to the skillet and warm through.

13. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Thaw frozen shrimp before cooking whenever possible.

Reserve pasta water for the smoothest sauce texture.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat gently with a splash of water or cream.

Freezing is not recommended for creamy pasta sauces.
