2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons butter
Salt and black pepper
6 strips bacon
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup scallions
2 tablespoons parsley

1 clove garlic
1. Cook grits according to package directions
2. Stir in butter and cheese and season
3. Cook bacon until crispy and remove
4. Cook shrimp in bacon drippings
