Easy sausage cream cheese crescent rolls made with flaky dough, creamy cheese, and savory sausage for breakfast or parties.

Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled

1 package cream cheese softened

2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

2. Cook and crumble the sausage completely

3. Mix cooked sausage with softened cream cheese

4. Separate crescent dough into triangles

5. Cut each triangle lengthwise into smaller triangles

6. Scoop filling onto each crescent triangle

7. Roll tightly and place on baking sheet

8. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown

9. Serve warm or at room temperature

Turkey sausage works well as a substitute

The filling can be prepared ahead and refrigerated
