These cheesy pizza sliders combine pepperoni, melted mozzarella, and buttery Hawaiian rolls into the ultimate comfort food appetizer.
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup Italian cheese blend
1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning divided
1 1/3 cups pizza sauce
2 tablespoons sun-dried tomato pesto
1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls
3/4 cup sliced pepperoni
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Mix mozzarella Italian cheese basil pepper and Italian seasoning
3. Combine pizza sauce and pesto in separate bowl
4. Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating rolls
5. Place bottom rolls onto prepared baking sheet
6. Layer cheese pepperoni and pizza sauce evenly
7. Repeat layers once more
8. Bake until cheese melts about 15 minutes
9. Prepare garlic butter mixture with Parmesan and seasoning
10. Add top rolls and brush with garlic butter
11. Bake until tops become golden brown
12. Separate sliders and serve immediately
