Soft homemade pizza rolls filled with mozzarella, pepperoni, and pizza sauce.
1 batch pizza dough 2 teaspoons olive oil 2/3 cup pizza sauce Italian seasoning Garlic powder 1 cup mozzarella cheese 60 pepperoni slices Cornmeal optional Fresh basil optional
1. Prepare and rise the pizza dough. Divide dough into two rectangles. Brush with olive oil. Spread pizza sauce. Add seasoning and cheese. Top with pepperoni. Roll into logs. Chill for 20 minutes. Slice into rolls. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm with pizza sauce.
Refrigerate before slicing for clean cuts. Freeze baked rolls for up to 3 months. Serve with marinara for dipping.
