Classic pineapple upside down cake with caramelized topping and moist vanilla base.

Ingredients

Pineapple slices

Maraschino cherries

Butter

Brown sugar

Flour

Eggs

Milk

Pineapple juice

Sour cream

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F

2. Add butter and brown sugar to pan

3. Arrange pineapple and cherries

4. Mix dry ingredients

5. Mix wet ingredients

6. Combine mixtures

7. Pour batter over fruit

8. Bake 45 minutes

9. Cool 20 minutes

10. Flip and serve

Notes

Use pineapple in juice not syrup

Cool before flipping

Do not overmix batter
