Refreshing Pineapple Sorbet made with fresh pineapple, sugar, and water for an easy tropical frozen dessert.

1/2 pineapple peeled and cored 8 tablespoons granulated sugar 1/2 cup water

Instructions

1. Peel and core the pineapple. Cut pineapple into chunks. Add pineapple, sugar, and water to blender. Blend until completely smooth. Chill mixture in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Freeze mixture in ice cream maker according to manufacturer instructions. Transfer sorbet to freezer-safe container before serving.

Notes

Use ripe pineapple for the best flavor. Chill mixture before freezing for smoother texture. Allow frozen sorbet to soften slightly before scooping.
