1 cup shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Cream shortening and sugars
3. Add eggs and mix
4. Combine dry ingredients
5. Mix into wet mixture
6. Add oats and chocolate chips
7. Drop onto baking sheet
8. Bake 15 minutes
Do not overbake
