A soft and moist lemon loaf cake bursting with fresh citrus flavor and topped with a sweet glaze.

Ingredients

Scale

1 3/4 cups flour

2 tbsp cornstarch

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup milk

3 tbsp lemon juice

3/4 cup butter

2 tbsp oil

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 tbsp lemon zest

3 eggs

Instructions

1. Preheat oven and prepare pan

2. Mix dry ingredients

3. Combine milk and lemon juice

4. Cream butter, oil, sugar, zest

5. Add eggs one at a time

6. Mix wet and dry ingredients gently

7. Bake for 1 hour

8. Pour lemon syrup over warm cake

9. Add glaze after cooling

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice

Do not overmix batter

Apply syrup while warm
