Sweet and tangy lemon crumble bars with a buttery oat base and crisp topping.

Ingredients

Scale

175g rolled oats

200g flour

150g brown sugar

1/2 tsp baking powder

175g butter

395g condensed milk

juice of 3 lemons

zest of 3 lemons

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 200°C

2. Mix oats flour sugar and baking powder

3. Rub in butter until crumb texture

4. Press half into pan

5. Mix condensed milk lemon juice and zest

6. Pour filling over base

7. Add remaining crumble on top

8. Bake until golden

9. Cool completely before slicing

Notes

Use fresh lemons for best flavor

Cool fully for clean cuts
