2 lb frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 lb breakfast sausage
1 small onion, diced
5 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
12 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a deep baking dish.
2. Cook sausage and onion until browned; drain excess fat.
3. Spread hash browns evenly in the baking dish.
4. Whisk eggs, milk, seasonings, salt, and pepper.
5. Pour egg mixture over hash browns.
6. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the potatoes.
7. Add sausage mixture, then top with remaining cheese.
