Ingredients

Scale

10 watermelon wedges, cut into 1-inch thick triangles

Olive oil, for greasing the grill

Lime wedges, for serving

Flaky sea salt, to taste

Fresh mint leaves, chopped

Crumbled feta cheese (optional)

Honey, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

2. Lightly brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

3. Place the watermelon wedges directly on the hot grill.

4. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes until grill marks appear.

5. Flip each wedge carefully and grill for another 2 to 3 minutes.

6. Transfer the grilled watermelon to a serving platter and let cool for 1 to 2 minutes.

7. Squeeze fresh lime juice over each slice.

8. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and chopped fresh mint.

9. Top with crumbled feta cheese if desired.

10. Finish with a light drizzle of honey and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe seedless watermelon for the sweetest flavor.

Pat the watermelon dry before grilling for better grill marks.

Do not overcook, or the watermelon may become too soft.

Fresh basil can replace mint for a different flavor profile.

Best served immediately after grilling.
