A crispy grilled cheese sandwich with golden bread and a perfectly melted cheesy center.
2 slices sourdough bread
Mayonnaise
Dijon mustard
1 to 2 ounces cheddar cheese
1 to 2 ounces Gruyère cheese
Butter
1. Spread mayonnaise on the outside of the bread.
2. Spread Dijon mustard on one inside slice.
3. Add cheddar and Gruyère cheese.
4. Close the sandwich.
5. Heat butter in a skillet.
6. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
7. Flip the sandwich.
8. Cook until golden and the cheese melts.
9. Slice and serve.
Cook over medium-low heat.
Use freshly grated cheese.
Serve immediately for the best texture.
