Creamy fried pickle dip made with dill pickles, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and crispy toasted breadcrumbs.
1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups sour cream
4 ounces cream cheese softened
1 packet ranch seasoning
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons dill pickle juice
1 1/2 cups chopped dill pickles
2 garlic cloves crushed
1 tablespoon fresh chives minced
1 tablespoon fresh dill minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Hot sauce optional
1. Melt butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat
2. Add Panko breadcrumbs and toast until golden brown
3. Transfer breadcrumbs into a bowl and cool completely
4. Combine sour cream, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, pickle juice, lemon juice, and optional hot sauce in a mixing bowl
5. Blend until smooth and creamy
6. Stir in chopped pickles, garlic, dill, and chives
7. Spread half the dip into a serving dish
8. Top with half the toasted breadcrumbs
9. Repeat layers with remaining dip and breadcrumbs
10. Serve with chips or vegetables
Toast breadcrumbs until crisp for the best texture
Store breadcrumbs separately if making ahead
