Soft homemade focaccia bread topped with herbs, olive oil, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
2¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon basil
Black pepper
1 cup water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
1. Combine flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and seasonings.
2. Add water and vegetable oil.
3. Mix until dough forms.
4. Knead until smooth.
5. Place dough in an oiled bowl.
6. Allow dough to rise for 20 minutes.
7. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
8. Press dough onto baking sheet.
9. Brush with olive oil.
10. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
11. Bake for 15 minutes until golden.
12. Slice and serve warm.
Add olives or vegetables for extra flavor.
Store at room temperature for three days.
Freeze slices for one month.
