These Fluffy Pancakes are light, tender, and perfectly golden. Made with simple pantry ingredients, they’re ideal for breakfast or brunch.
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Cooking spray
1. Combine milk and vinegar in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes
2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl
3. Whisk egg and melted butter into the soured milk
4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients
5. Whisk gently until combined and lumps disappear
6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and coat with cooking spray
7. Pour 1/4 cup batter onto skillet for each pancake
8. Cook until bubbles form and edges appear dry
9. Flip and cook until golden brown on the second side
10. Serve warm with butter and syrup
