This homemade Dole Whip is a creamy, refreshing frozen pineapple dessert made with frozen fruit, coconut milk, and a hint of lime. It’s dairy-free, naturally sweet, and comes together in just minutes for the perfect tropical treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup frozen pineapple chunks

1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen

2½ teaspoons powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened full-fat coconut milk

1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

Optional Garnishes:

Fresh pineapple wedges

Toasted coconut flakes

Fresh mint leaves

Lime zest

Instructions

1. Add the frozen pineapple, frozen banana, powdered sugar, coconut milk, and lime juice to a high-speed blender or food processor.

2. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

3. If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon of coconut milk at a time until it reaches your preferred consistency.

4. If it’s too thin, blend in a few extra frozen pineapple chunks.

5. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.

6. Spoon into serving bowls or pipe into cups for a classic soft-serve presentation.

7. Garnish with fresh pineapple, toasted coconut, or mint if desired.

8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Freeze the pineapple and banana overnight for the creamiest texture.

Use full-fat canned coconut milk for a rich, smooth consistency.

Blend in small intervals and scrape down the sides if needed.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Allow frozen leftovers to soften for 10–15 minutes before serving.
