2 large cucumbers thinly sliced

1/2 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon white vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped

1/4 small red onion thinly sliced

Instructions

1. Slice cucumbers thinly and place them in a bowl.

2. In a separate bowl mix sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.

3. Add chopped dill and mix well.

4. Add cucumbers and red onion to the dressing.

5. Toss gently until evenly coated.

6. Refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving.

7. Garnish with extra dill and serve chilled.

Notes

Salt cucumbers first to remove excess moisture.

Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter version.

Serve chilled for best flavor.
