This Cottage Cheese Frozen Yogurt is a creamy, high-protein frozen dessert made with cottage cheese, fruit, and honey. It’s naturally sweetened, refreshing, and perfect for a healthy summer snack or guilt-free dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups (500g) 2% cottage cheese

1 cup fruit of choice (fresh or frozen)

1 to 3 tablespoons honey (depending on desired sweetness)

2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)

medium ripe bananas (optional, for extra creaminess)

Instructions

1. Add the cottage cheese, fruit, honey, vanilla extract, and optional bananas to a high-powered blender or food processor.

2. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.

3. Taste the mixture and add more honey if you prefer a sweeter frozen yogurt.

4. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container with a tight-fitting lid.

5. Spread the mixture evenly using a spatula.

6. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely firm.

7. Let the frozen yogurt sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

8. Run an ice cream scoop under warm water, scoop the frozen yogurt, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Use ripe fruit for the sweetest flavor.

Frozen fruit works just as well as fresh fruit.

Adding bananas creates an extra creamy texture similar to traditional frozen yogurt.

Store leftovers in a freezer-safe airtight container for up to 2 months.

Allow the frozen yogurt to soften slightly before scooping for the best texture.
