This Cottage Cheese Berry Parfait is a creamy, high-protein breakfast layered with fresh berries, crunchy granola, and lightly sweetened cottage cheese. Ready in just 5 minutes, it’s perfect for breakfast, meal prep, or a healthy snack.
1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup granola
1 tablespoon soaked chia seeds (optional)
Coconut flakes for topping (optional)
1. In a small bowl, combine the cottage cheese, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
2. Mix until well combined, or blend for a smoother texture if desired.
3. Divide the strawberries and blueberries between two serving jars or glasses, creating the first fruit layer.
4. Spoon half of the cottage cheese mixture over the fruit.
5. Add another layer of fresh berries on top.
6. Sprinkle the granola evenly over each parfait.
7. Top with soaked chia seeds or coconut flakes if desired.
8. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
For the best texture, add the granola just before serving.
Store assembled parfaits without granola in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Frozen berries may be used after thawing and draining excess liquid.
Customize with raspberries, blackberries, peaches, or mango.
Blend the cottage cheese if you prefer a yogurt-like consistency.
