Soft and fluffy butter swim biscuits baked in melted butter with a crispy golden crust.

Ingredients

Scale

2 1/2 cups flour

4 tsp baking powder

1 tbsp sugar

2 tsp salt

2 cups buttermilk

1/2 cup butter

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 450°F

2. Mix dry ingredients

3. Add buttermilk and stir

4. Pour melted butter into dish

5. Add dough and spread

6. Cut into squares

7. Bake 28 minutes

8. Cool slightly and serve

Notes

Do not overmix dough

Use buttermilk for best results

Bake until golden brown
