14 pitted dates (Deglet Noor or small dried dates)
7 bacon strips, halved
14 toothpicks
Optional:
Cream cheese or goat cheese for stuffing

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Wrap each date with half a bacon strip and secure with a toothpick.
3. Place on a parchment-lined baking tray.
4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until bacon is crispy but not burnt.

Use small dried dates like Deglet Noor for best results.
Medjool dates are too large and soft.
