These easy air fryer vegan churros are crisp, egg-free, and coated in cinnamon sugar.
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons oil (avocado or olive)
1 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon sugar
⅓ cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1. In a bowl, mix flour and sugar. Set aside.
2. Boil water and oil together in a saucepan.
3. Remove from heat and add flour mix. Stir until a dough forms.
4. Let dough rest 5 minutes. Roll into cylinder and cut into 8 logs.
5. Shape each log and use fork to press texture if desired.
6. Spray air fryer basket and churros with oil.
7. Air fry at 400°F for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
8. While warm, coat in cinnamon sugar and serve with dips.
Best enjoyed warm. Store in an airtight container for 2 days.
Reheat in air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
Serve with vegan chocolate or caramel sauces.
