Fluffy, nostalgic vanilla cake baked in the air fryer with a pink glaze.

Ingredients

1 cup self‑raising flour

3/4 cup caster sugar

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pink glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar + 2 Tbsp milk + few drops of pink food color

Instructions

1. Preheat air fryer to 325°F and grease a 6″ pan.

2. Beat butter and sugar until light.

3. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

4. Fold in flour and milk until smooth.

5. Pour batter into pan and place on trivet.

6. Bake 20 min, tent foil, then 10‑15 min more until a toothpick comes out clean.

7. Let cool briefly, then drizzle glaze and sprinkle.

Notes

Use a trivet for airflow.

Rotate pan halfway for even bake.

Store glazed cake in fridge for up to 2 days.
