This air fryer brownie with chocolate chips is rich, fudgy, and incredibly easy to make without turning on the oven. Perfect for small batches, these brownies have a crackly top, gooey center, and melty chocolate chips in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons water

1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

2 large eggs, room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2/3 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and water over low heat until warm and the butter is melted.

2. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until completely melted and smooth.

3. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until just combined; do not overmix.

6. Lightly grease an air fryer-safe 7–8 inch pan and pour in the batter evenly.

7. Place the pan in the air fryer and cook at 320°F (160°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake and allow them to set as they cool.

You can use milk, dark, or white chocolate chips, or a combination.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
