Crispy, juicy air fryer breakfast sausages made in minutes — perfect for links or patties, fresh or frozen. Minimal cleanup and consistent results every time.

Ingredients

Scale

8 breakfast sausage links (fresh or frozen)

OR

8 sausage patties (fresh or frozen)

Non-stick spray (only if your air fryer requires)

Optional: black pepper, maple syrup for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.

2. Place sausage links or patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray; do not overcrowd.

3. Cook fresh sausage links or patties for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

4. Cook frozen sausage links or patties for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through.

5. Check internal temperature with a digital thermometer; it should read 160°F (71°C).

6. If desired, add 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness. Let rest 1-2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Cooking times vary by air fryer model and sausage thickness—use an instant-read thermometer to confirm doneness.

For juicier sausages, avoid overcooking; for crispier texture, add 1–2 minutes at the end.

Clean the air fryer tray after use to prevent smoking from rendered fat.
