A warm, simple Air Fryer Apple Crisp with tender spiced apples and a buttery oat topping.
3 medium apples (peeled and diced)
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
3 tbsp rolled oats
2 tbsp all-purpose flour (or gluten-free)
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp butter, melted
1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (205°C).
2. In a medium bowl combine diced apples, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Divide between two oven-safe dishes.
3. Cover dishes with foil and air-fry for 10 minutes.
4. In a small bowl combine oats, flour, brown sugar and melted butter until crumbly. Remove foil from dishes, spread topping over apples and set air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
5. Air-fry uncovered for 5 minutes or until topping is golden. Let cool for 5 minutes, then serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Use baking dishes that fit your air fryer basket for best results.
If using deeper ramekins, add 2-3 minutes to cooking time.
To make vegan: swap butter for coconut oil or vegan butter.
Leftovers keep up to 5 days in fridge; reheat at 350°F for ~3-5 minutes.
